Grilled Honey Chili Lime Cilantro Chicken

 A tasty and nutritious grilled chicken recipe perfect for your summer outdoor meals. Chicken breasts seasoned with a salty, sweet, sour and spicy marinade (made with cilantro, lemon juice, honey and chili) are grilled to a tender finish. Easy to make and excellent in salads, with rice or in burritos and wraps!

List Of Ingredients For Honey To The Grill Chili Lime Cilantro Chicken

4 medium-size chicken breasts, boneless, skinless

1 or 2 red peppers, cut in cubes

2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander, to decorate

Marinade:

1/4 cup fresh lime juice

grated lime

2 tablespoons of olive oil

2 garlic cloves finely chopped

1/2 cube of shredded chicken broth, or 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Fresh cracked pepper

1 teaspoon honey or brown sugar (optional for low carbohydrate and keto diet)

1 teaspoon red chili flakes (fit to taste)

Grilled Honey Chili Lime Cilantro Chicken

Addresses:

1. Beat the ingredients for the marinade in a small bowl. Cut the chicken breasts into cubes and place the chicken in a large plastic bag or bowl and add the marinade. Mix well to combine. Seal the bag or lid bowl and place in the refrigerator to marinate for 30 minutes, or up to 24 hours.

2. Preheat grill, pan or griddle over medium-high heat. Drain the marinade chicken and soak the wooden skewers in water for 1 minute. Spread the skewers alternating with chicken cubes and pepper slices.

3. Grill the chicken skewers for 5 minutes on each side, spraying part of the marinade from time to time until they are cooked and lightly charred. Serve immediately with salad, rice or noodles. Garnish with chopped cilantro and enjoy!
