These homemade sour strawberry gummies are full of protein and fresh fruit! In addition, you only need 15 minutes of time to make these refreshing treats.
When I was little, I loved eating the gummies that my mother brought home. In fact, I do not think a package lasted more than five minutes in my house.
Unfortunately, most of the gummies bought in the store are made with artificial colors and preservatives. So I decided to make my own homemade version of strawberry gummies, which only needs 4 ingredients and 15 minutes of preparation!
Tools:
Blender
A medium saucepan
Whisk
Silicone mold
Ingredients
3/4 cup of lemon juice
1½ cups fresh strawberries (cut into small pieces without leaves)
2 T of maple syrup
1/4 cup of collagen powder
Instructions:
Place the chopped strawberries and lemon juice in the blender. Mix for 30 seconds until you get a thick liquid.
Pour the liquid into a medium saucepan and add the maple syrup and collagen. Beat the ingredients together.
Light the stove over low heat and mix for 5 minutes (until everything is incorporated and obtain a thin liquid).
Use a spoon to remove foam from the top. Remove the pan from the heat and pour the mixture into a silicone mold.
Allow the collagen mixture to cool in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (until firm).
Once it is firm, remove the sour collagen gummies from the mold and serve.
